 God offers us salvation through Jesus. "And she shall bring forth a son,
and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins".  Matthew 1:21
 

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven
given among men, whereby we must be saved".  Acts 4:12

Salvation means we receive eternal life if we enter into a personal relationship with God.

"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent".  John 17:3
 

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life".  John 3:16
 

"But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart:
that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe
in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  Romans 10:8-10
