What has your company  planned for celebrating National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.

National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, Aug. 20 - 26, 2006!

Some companies choose to have a very 'hands on' approach to NTDAW, with company employees getting directly involved with the celebration. Office personnel, driver managers and executives served lunch to truck drivers, washed their trucks and went on ride alongs with drivers. Some companies had sales on truck parts and accessories, while others sent drivers a daily message over their mobile communications equipment or a written expression of appreciation from the CEO or entire staff.

We think the ride alongs are such a great idea, we are offering it to anyone who would like to ride around with a trucker for a couple of days to see things from a drivers point of view.  If you would like to try this, contact us HERE.

The White House issued a letter from President Bush in which he commended "the men and women working in our trucking industry for your dedication to safety and reliably transporting the goods that help America live, grow, and prosper." The President's letter helps kickoff National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, Aug. 20 - 26.
