THE FLOWERTOWN PLAYERS 25th SEASON OPENS
Summerville's The Flowertown Players opens their 2000-01 season with the comedy Here Lies Jeremy Troy, by Jack Sharkey, directed by Monica Miller-Shows, at the James F. Dean Community Theatre, 133 S. Main Street.
The Play stars Kristen A. Pratt as Kathryn Troy, Bobby Wood as Jeremy Troy, Jackson Gutierrez as Charlie Bickle, Terry Villeponteaux as Tina Winslow, and John Corrigan as Sven Ivorsen.
Performances are August 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, and 26 at 8:00 PM and August 20 at 2:00 PM.
After the performance on opening night, august 11, there will be a Meet-the-Cast Reception in the rehearsal hall.
Reserved tickets are $15.00 for adults and $13.00 for seniors and students, and may be ordered by calling 872-9251. 

The box office opens for reservations beginning August 2 for Members and August 7 for non members. Box office hours are 10:00 am to 4:00 PM, Monday thru Friday, and one hour before performance
Memberships ( season tickets ) are still available at $40.00 for adults and $35.00 for seniors and students for the 4 play series.
The story: A college chum who lives by sponging off classmates visits a lawyer who is up for partnership. he blackmails the lawyer into putting him up on the very night the boss is coming for dinner --whereupon the wife leaves. An artist's model, a dumb beauty whose attempts to help backfire, is asked to play the wife. More trouble erupts when the wife returns.
compounded by more and more lies, the evening breaks into hysterics !

They will also be available at the door one-half hour before performances.
