Restorative Nursing
Restorative nursing skills are an integral part of the comprehensive care provided
for the individuals at our
facility. Professional licensed staff and an interdisciplinary care team will meet with
the resident and their
family members on a regular basis to review the plan of care necessary to retain the
resident’s dignity, to
improve physical skills for daily living and to achieve psychological well-being.
Speech Therapy

Physical Therapy
Speech Therapy addresses a wide variety of impairments including communication,
cognition, and chewing - swallowing disorders. Our individualized speech therapy
goals are developed to facilitate maximum performance with talking, communicating,
interacting & eating. Close collaboration between staff & dietary services
& restorative nursing allows for the maintenance of our residents highest diet &
nutritional level through our unique rehab dinning program. Family & resident
goals are important in recovery & speech therapy services are avaible for those who
are planning to return home & for those who make their home with us.
Occupational Therapy
Helping residents improve their ability to manage day-to-day activities is the
major focus of our
occupational therapy programs. Occupational therapy offers services for residents
recovering from a
stroke or other debilitating illness. Some may have sustained a fall or suffer from
arthritis. Therapy goals
may vary widely, but individual programs are geared to helping residents become as
self-sufficient as
possible. We believe it is important for family members to take an active part in the
rehabilitation
program. Occupational therapy services are provided for individuals returning home or for
those who are
a part of our Hallmark HealthCare family.
