Essential Blends Personal Care by Phoenix uses natural ingredients as an alternative to
the synthetics prevalent in personal care products today. Beneficial, natural formulations
using fresh, pure, and safe ingredients, offering fragrances with "sense appeal"
describe our products.
Our products are inspired by two growing trends: consumers seeking new, intriguing,
fragrances in the products they purchase which promote well-being either through the
principles of aromatherapy, or simply for the pleasure the aromatic brings. Moreover,
there is an increasing awareness among consumers of the benefits in using organic and
natural products.
What differentiates our products is not only our generous use of essential oils, but the
proportion of natural ingredients used in order to provide benefit. We have found that
although our competitors include natural ingredients on their labels, in fact only very
small quantities are incorporated into the product- not a sufficient amount to make a
difference or to create a benefit. We encourage and help consumers to read and understand
labels and ingredients.
Every product is handcrafted in small batches to assure freshness. What you order today
was made recently. A cold-process method is used, blending ingredients at low
temperatures, to retain nutrients and benefits of the ingredients. Freshness, ingredients,
and processing all contribute to products good for the skin. Our products provide skin a
source of vitamins, herbs, antioxidants, and moisturizing plant oils. We believe that a
healthy lifestyle includes using personal care products which are natural and wholesome
for the body.
Our natural bar soaps are formulated for all skin types, however, some ingredients target
particular needs. Most commercially made soaps, including those described as
"mild", are made with tallow (animal fat) thought to clog pores which need to
breathe to oxygenate our bodies and release toxins. Synthetics are added, which can cause
dry, itchy, or irritated skin. Colorful, transparent soaps typically contain alcohol &
chemicals; the ingredients used are inexpensive. Some believe it is changes in the weather
which contribute to dry skin; often it is the soap they are using which causes skin
problems.
