Well do you?
Do you even know who he is?
Do you care?

You might have been asked this a million times in your life or maybe never. You might think that your membership in a
'Christian Church' or 'good works' will land you in Heaven after you die or your faith in another religion will get you to
'paradise' and that you don't need Jesus. You might think it will all be over when you breathe your last breath and that
there is no such thing as Heaven or Hell or you probably don't know. You might not even be thinking that far ahead.
Whatever the case, this question is important because the answer to it does determine that after you die, you will be going
to either Heaven or Hell. How can you be sure of where you will go? Would you like to go to Heaven and spend eternity
with Jesus in paradise? Then read further. If you don't, I can warn you that it will not be good for you. No one will come
and harm you or force you to know Jesus Christ as your personal savior but after you die on this Earth, God will not let
you into Heaven. It says in Revelation 20:15, that anyone who's name is not written in the book of life will be thrown into
the lake of fire (Hell). Do you want to avoid this? Then read further.

First of all, whether you realize it or not, you are a sinner. The Bible says in Romans 3:23, "for all have sinned and fall
short of the glory of God." No matter how much 'good' we have done in our lives, we have all sinned. Whether it be
stealing, lying, lust, murder, etc. it has all been against the will of God. No matter what the magnitude of the sin is, it is
against the will of God and therefore it is wrong.

"So what's the penalty for sin?" you might ask. A slap on the wrist? Jail time? Bad luck? Nope. In Romans 6:23 it says,
"for the wages of sin, is death . . . " Pretty severe penalty ? Yes it is. What can man do if he/she is naturally a sinner?
Well, there is a ray of hope. Remember the question about the person you were asked when you got to this page? That
person is the hope. That person is JESUS CHRIST. Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of
man in the past, present and future and rose again (I Corinthians 15:3-6)!!!! God sent Jesus Christ (his one and only son) to
be the ultimate sacrifice because he knew that man had no hope in eternity of reaching Heaven unless Jesus Christ took the
sin of man and died on the cross.

Can you believe that? A Father sacrificing his own son so that everyone who has ever lived has a chance to reach
Heaven. If you think about it, that's the greatest love story mankind has ever known.

So how can you turn from your ways and begin a new life in Jesus Christ? Well remember that Jesus is the "way and the
truth and the life" and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). But you might say, "I have sinned so
much. I don't think God will accept me" or something similar. Remember that Jesus died on the cross for your sins
regardless of the magnitude or number. If you confess and ask for forgiveness for your sins, you will be purified from all
unrighteousness (I John 1:9). The way to do that is to "confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart
that God raised him from the dead . . ." (Romans 10:9). How can you do that? Through Prayer
(Prayer is your communication to God). You can say a prayer like the following:

Dear Lord, I am a sinner and I need you. I admit that all the things I have done in the past are wrong and against your will
and I want you to come into my life and change me. Please forgive me for all my sins because I am really sorry. I want
you to be Lord and Savior in my life so I can be a new creature. I want to do your will so I can be what you want me to be.

Did you pray that prayer by confessing with your mouth and believing in your heart?
If you did, then you are saved (Romans 10:10)!!!! Congratulations!!! You now have eternal life through Jesus Christ (I John 5:11).
It doesn't stop here, however;
You now have to live for Christ every second of your life if you meant and prayed for Jesus to be Lord and Savior in your life.
Here are some suggestions to get to the 'next level' in your spiritual life and be a stronger Christian:

Get baptized right away (John 3:3-7)
Pray to God daily for any and all of your needs
Read the Word of God daily to build up your spiritual man
Tell others about the new Savior in your life (Matthew 28:19-20)
Obey and trust in the Lord for everything
Do all these things and live for God continually. Then your name will be written in the book of life!

Also, one thing that is important to do is to fellowship in a church where the Word of God is the final authority and that the
fellowship of believers is strong. If you don't have a church, we would love to have you come to our church! If our church
is too far for you, take the time to visit the churches in your area and pray that God will lead you to the right church.

We would love to hear from you about how you accepted Christ as your personal Savior. Email us and tell us your
testimony. If you need materials such as a Bible or other information, include that in the email and we will get it to you as
soon as possible. If you have any questions, comments or doubts about accepting Christ, about Christianity or this page
you too can Email us and we will do our best to get your questions answered.
